SouthLand are a competitive roller derby league based in Waterford, Ireland. We recruit all genders as skaters, refs and NSO's (Non Skate Officials) for our teams, the Southland Sirens & SouthLand Buccaneers.

Today is an exciting day for our league! Today we celebrate our FIRST birthday! We can’t believe it’s been a year already. It’s been such a fantastic journey and we cannot wait for many more derby filled years to come. We’ve grown so much over the last 12 months and what better way to celebrate our first birthday than launching our league & Waterford’s first Men’s Roller Derby team, Southland Buccaneers Roller Derby.
We’d like to say a huge thanks to everyone who came out and supported our fundraiser with The Shadows Hockey team. Thanks to everyone who donated prizes and to Oskars for having us! We had an awesome night!
