Lip Sync Battle – Fundraising Event
Southland Roller Derby are hosting a Lip Sync Battle fundraising event on Saturday, 3rd December 2016 in Mount Sion Social Centre, Waterford City. Doors open at 7:30 / Battle starts 8pm
25% of the proceeds on the night will be donated to Tintean Housing Association here in Waterford City.
Judges on the night will be Trish Archer from Beat 102 103, Waterford Actress Lynda Gough and former Waterford Rose Jacqui Watson.
It’s a night not to be missed so come along, have some fun and help the judges vote for your favourite act while raising funds for Southland Roller Derby & Tintean Housing Association!

#BeActive 2016: European Week of Sport
This week is the BeActive 2016 European Week of Sport! Above are some of our Sirens & Bucs who have signed up to the #BeActive Challenge to promote sport and physical activity across Europe. The European Commission launched this initiative to get Europe active and involved in a new sport/activity. If you’re looking for an indoor activity for the winter and would like to try something different, why not come along to our training session next Tuesday in Cill Barra Sports Centre to see what Roller Derby is all about! Absolutely no experience required and we train both men & women (18+).

IT’S OUR FIRST BIRTHDAY!
Today is an exciting day for our league! Today we celebrate our FIRST birthday! We can’t believe it’s been a year already. It’s been such a fantastic journey and we cannot wait for many more derby filled years to come. We’ve grown so much over the last 12 months and what better way to celebrate our first birthday than launching our league & Waterford’s first Men’s Roller Derby team, Southland Buccaneers Roller Derby.

Fundraiser: Pub Quiz @ Oskars
Southland Sirens Roller Derby are joining forced with The Shadows Inline Hockey Club to raise much needed funds for both our leagues.
